If you haven’t received it already, beware! A new version of ExtrAXION is coming your way.

As you know, ExtrAXION is our own professional tool that helps you simplify and accelerate engineering tasks such as costing and managing, to facilitate your project at the bidding and construction stage. With users in more than 30 countries, ExtrAXION is the go-to Quantity Takeoff software solution for engineers everywhere – and it just got even better.

This version includes many new features, on top of quality-of-life updates that increase usability and make ExtrAXION even more adaptable to your specific needs.

Enhanced Calculation:

• Recalculation is now significantly faster, making it easier to incorporate changes in your drawing measurements.
• Automatic recalculation is now available even for individual parameter changes.
  

Improved Drawing Engine:

• The drawing engine has been updated.
• Transparency settings can now be adjusted for lines and count symbols.
  

Formulas and Parameters:

• You can now use Excel-like formulas, instead of single numbers, in most numeric fields.
• You can define custom measurements and parameters for each project.
• Parameter codes can now be freely defined, which makes them easier for you to use.
• Sheet parameters are now also available, and their value can be adapted for each measurement sheet. With this new feature, you can automatically adjust the value of copied measurements across different sheets, for example different floors.
• New “Drag and Drop” capabilities have been added. You can now drag and drop sheet and project parameters in formulas.
  

Project Management:

• You can now Export and Import custom measurements and parameters across different projects.
• You can now see the path of a sheet by hovering over the sheet name. This feature makes it easier to find what part of your project you are working on, when you have more than one sheet under the same name.
